NEWS UPDATE: We are sorry to report the passing of Mr. Sanregret.
He was born on July 27, 1930 in Marquette Michigan.
He died on November 9, 1999 in Tustin California.
Services were held at Forest Lawn, Cypress California, 11/15/99
His family, including many grandchildren, friends, partners,
and old mining and military buddies attended the laying to rest.

Dear Friends,
Oh Dear God, Our Best Friend is gone.
We will all miss him so dearly.
We loved him dearly, he had such class and courage.
Such a dear sweet friend. The best we ever had.

He is a BIG LEGEND of the West and will never be forgotten.
A champion for the little people, a champion of poor miners.
Sorry, I must go cry and say a rosary for him.
And a special prayer to St. Barbara, Patron Saint of Miners.

Another Courageous Miner Crosses the Great Divide.
May your Rewards in Heaven be the real Motherlode!

Mr. Sanregret wrote the LEGISLATIVE UPDATE in the
INTERNATIONAL CALIFORNIA MINING JOURNAL.

Mr. Sanregret was also the Executive Director of the
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MINING DISTRICTS.
